Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented, creative, and technically strong Shopify Developer to develop, customize, and optimize Shopify stores for multiple brands. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Shopify themes, Liquid coding, UI/UX principles, performance optimization, third-party app integrations, and Shopify 2.0 frameworks.

You will collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and eCommerce teams to turn brand concepts into smooth, high-converting Shopify experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Store Development & Customization

• Build, customize, and optimize Shopify storefronts
• Modify themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
• Develop custom sections, templates, and functionalities
• Implement Shopify 2.0 features and upgrade existing themes

Integrations & Functional Enhancements

• Integrate third-party apps (Klaviyo, ReCharge, Loox, Judge.me, PageFly, Booster, etc.)
• Set up Shopify integrations with Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Meta
• Optimize checkout, cart, and product pages for better conversions
• Configure shipping, payments, taxes, and backend automations

Performance Optimization

• Improve site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance
• Fix bugs, layout issues, and theme conflicts
• Maintain SEO-friendly structure and clean coding practices

Maintenance & Ongoing Support

• Provide regular updates, fixes, and enhancements
• Collaborate with graphics and branding teams to implement designs
• Manage theme backups, duplications, and version control
• Work with metafields, custom data, and dynamic content

Technical Troubleshooting

• Resolve app conflicts, store errors, and Liquid code issues
• Build custom features without disrupting existing store flows
• Create clear developer documentation for future scalability

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (2+ years preferred)
• Strong skills in:
  • Shopify Liquid
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Theme customization (Dawn, Prestige, Motion, etc.)
• Experience with Shopify 2.0
• Understanding of UI/UX and eCommerce best practices
• Ability to work with Figma, XD, or similar design tools
• Experience with third-party app integrations
• Excellent debugging skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities

• Experience with Shopify Plus
• Knowledge of SEO and structured data
• Familiarity with Page Builders (PageFly, Shogun)
• Speed optimization techniques
• Understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs
• Experience working with marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop)
