About the Role

Digitales is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Junior to Mid-Level WordPress Developer to join our fast-growing digital marketing and development team. We’re looking for someone who understands modern WordPress practices, can build and maintain responsive sites, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate effectively with our design, SEO, and content teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, layouts)
• Convert Figma/Adobe XD designs into fully functional, responsive WordPress pages
• Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and hosting-related problems
• Manage website migrations, backups, and security updates
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO compliance, and overall user experience
• Work closely with design and content teams to implement new features and improvements
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across all devices
• Provide technical support for client websites when needed

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong understanding of themes, plugins, and the WordPress CMS structure
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Familiarity with popular page builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery)
• Good understanding of website performance optimization and SEO technical standards
• Ability to troubleshoot hosting/server issues (cPanel, DNS, SSL, etc.)
• Experience with WooCommerce is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Git or version control is a bonus
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
