We are looking for an Outside Cabinet Sales Representative to expand our reach with builders, remodelers, developers, real estate investors, designers, and homeowners nationwide. The ideal candidate can run consultations, create quotes with our design team, close deals, and deliver a great customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with builders, remodelers, and developers.
  • Prospect and qualify new trade accounts through networking, referrals, and job site visits.
  • Network with homeowners and design partners to identify new project opportunities.
  • Meet clients to understand measurements, project requirements, and cabinetry needs.
  • Collaborate with Kielo’s design and estimating teams to prepare accurate quotes and proposals.
  • Present cabinetry options, finishes, and value-engineered solutions that align with client budgets.
  • Follow up on open bids and proposals to successfully close projects.
  • Guide clients through design selections, contracts, and approvals.
  • Maintain updated pipeline status, project notes, and communication records in the CRM.
  • Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure a smooth project handoff and excellent customer experience.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of sales experience in cabinetry, remodeling, building materials, or home improvement.
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing.
  • Strong understanding of builder workflows, job site coordination, and construction terminology.
  • Ability to read basic plans, take rough measurements, and translate specs into cabinetry needs.
  • Successful track record of maintaining relationships with builders, remodelers, or GCs.
  • Comfortable working independently as a 1099 contractor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with custom or semi-custom cabinetry lines.
  • Familiarity with design software such as 2020, Chief Architect, SketchUp, etc.
  • Existing network within the local builder/remodeler community.
  • Understanding of cabinetry lead times, installation timelines, and logistics.

Compensation:

  • 1099 contract
  • Commission-only (uncapped earnings)
  • Bonus opportunities (quarterly & performance-based)
  • Full autonomy, with marketing support, product training, and design resources provided.
