Reports To: Head of Web / CTO

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled AI-Driven Code Writer with strong hands-on experience in Lovable, Base44, Replit, and other AI coding tools. This role involves rapidly building MVPs using AI-assisted workflows and converting them into fully functional, scalable, and self-hosted production-ready web applications.

This position combines software engineering expertise with AI automation, enabling fast delivery for internal tools, client-facing applications, and commercial products.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Assisted Application Development

• Use Lovable, Base44, and Replit to generate application prototypes and workflows
• Convert AI-generated code into production-ready applications
• Optimize, refactor, and structure code following best practices

Website Development & Deployment

• Build complete websites (frontend & backend) from AI-generated projects
• Containerize applications where required (Docker preferred)
• Deploy and manage self-hosted environments (VPS, Cloud VMs, Docker Compose)

System Architecture & Planning

• Design secure, scalable, and efficient system architectures
• Implement APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), integrations, and authentication flows
• Ensure clean, modular, and well-documented code

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform automated and manual testing
• Review AI-generated code for security, logic, and performance issues

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with founders, product managers, and operations teams
• Document workflows, features, and deployment processes
• Ensure smooth handover of completed projects

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with:
  • Lovable
  • Base44
  • Replit
• Strong expertise in at least two of the following:
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Python
  • Node.js
  • React / Next.js
  • Flask / Django
• Experience with Linux servers, Nginx, Docker, Git & CI/CD
• Strong database knowledge: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, SQLite
• Ability to refactor and secure AI-generated code

AI & Automation

• Efficient use of AI tools for rapid development
• Debugging and improving auto-generated code
• Understanding of LLM-based workflows and prompt engineering

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Ability to convert business ideas into technical solutions
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Experience

• Custom LLM agents or API integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Microservices or modular backend architecture
• Hosting experience on DigitalOcean, AWS, Azure, Render, Oracle Cloud
• Basic UI/UX understanding
