Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate Junior MERN / Next.js Developer (Intern) to join our development team. This position is ideal for someone with basic web development knowledge who wants to grow into a full-stack developer role. You will collaborate with senior developers, work on real-world projects, and learn modern development practices including Next.js and scalable backend architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining applications using the MERN stack and Next.js.
• Build and improve frontend components with React and Next.js.
• Contribute to backend development using Node.js and Express.js.
• Work with MongoDB for database operations and basic data modeling.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Collaborate with the team in debugging, testing, and problem-solving.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control following standard workflows.
• Learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and frameworks as needed.

Required Skills

Frontend

• Good understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Knowledge of React.js (components, hooks, state management).
• Basic experience with Next.js (pages/app router, API routes, SSR/SSG).
• Ability to work with reusable UI components and modern frontend practices.

Backend

• Basic knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
• Understanding of MongoDB, queries, and CRUD operations.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and usage.

General

• Understanding of async programming (promises, async/await).
• Basic knowledge of Git (pull, push, branches, merging).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with TailwindCSS or other UI frameworks.
• Basic understanding of TypeScript.
• Knowledge of authentication methods (JWT, sessions, NextAuth, etc.).
• Experience with Postman/Insomnia.
• Understanding of deployment platforms (Vercel, Render, etc.).
