About the Role

We’re not looking for someone who simply operates a camera. We’re looking for a visual storyteller—someone who can transform everyday moments into viral content, convert strategic insights into compelling stories, and turn raw footage into a high-performing content engine delivering 20+ impactful pieces every week.

This role places you at the center of a founder’s journey, documenting the growth of a fast-scaling EdTech company, Ucademy, across UAE and UK markets. From boardroom discussions to breakthrough milestones, you’ll capture and shape the narrative as it unfolds.

Job Responsibilities

The Content Engine (80% of Your Time)

• Shadow and document key moments including:
  • Strategy meetings
  • Student success stories
  • Team achievements
  • Market expansion activities
  • Day-to-day insights and spontaneous wins
• Conduct intensive 2–3 day shooting marathons producing 30–50+ content pieces
• Capture platform-optimized content for:
  • YouTube (long-form)
  • TikTok & Instagram Reels (short-form)
  • Instagram Stories
  • LinkedIn thought leadership
• Manage the full content workflow:
  • Shooting → organizing → delivering edit-ready footage
• Stay updated with evolving platform trends and formats

Content Strategy & Ideation (20% of Your Time)

• Collaborate on content planning and campaign ideas
• Anticipate and identify viral-worthy moments
• Propose creative angles, storylines, and narrative themes
• Actively contribute ideas such as:
  • “This should be a recurring content series”
  • “This trend can work if we position it like this”
• Help build a scalable content system beyond individual effort

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional videography experience with a standout portfolio
• Strong platform-native understanding (knowing why a 9:16 TikTok performs differently than a YouTube Short)
• Deep focus on storytelling, not just visuals
• Fast execution skills without compromising quality
• Highly self-motivated and proactive
• International travel ready with a valid passport (regular UK travel)
• Comfortable shooting in diverse environments:
  • Boardrooms, classrooms, streets, homes, airports, and more
• Adaptable and confident in dynamic, fast-paced settings
