Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Shopify Developer who is technically strong and experienced in building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify stores for multiple brands. The ideal candidate must be skilled in Liquid, Shopify theme development, UI/UX, speed optimization, Shopify 2.0, and third-party app integrations.

You will collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and eCommerce teams to transform brand concepts into smooth, high-performing, and conversion-focused Shopify experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Store Development & Customization

• Build, customize, and optimize Shopify stores
• Edit and customize themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
• Develop custom sections, templates, and functionalities
• Implement Shopify 2.0 features and upgrade existing themes

Integrations & Functional Enhancements

• Integrate third-party apps (Klaviyo, ReCharge, Loox, Judge.me, PageFly, Booster, etc.)
• Set up Shopify integrations with Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Meta, etc.
• Optimize checkout flow, cart, and product pages for conversions
• Configure payments, shipping, taxes, and backend automations

Performance Optimization

• Improve website speed and Core Web Vitals
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and clean code structure
• Fix bugs, layout issues, and theme conflicts
• Maintain SEO-friendly coding practices

Maintenance & Support

• Provide ongoing store maintenance, updates, and enhancements
• Collaborate with the graphics/branding team to implement designs
• Manage theme backups, duplications, and version control
• Handle metafields, custom data, and dynamic elements

Technical Problem-Solving

• Troubleshoot store errors, app conflicts, and Liquid issues
• Implement custom features without affecting existing workflows
• Create technical documentation for scalability

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (2+ years preferred)
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Shopify Liquid
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Theme customization (Dawn, Prestige, Motion, etc.)
  • Shopify 2.0
• Good understanding of UX/UI and eCommerce best practices
• Ability to work with design files (Figma, XD, PSD)
• Experience integrating third-party apps
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Shopify Plus
• Knowledge of SEO and structured data
• Familiarity with Page Builders (PageFly, Shogun)
• Understanding of speed optimization techniques
• Experience with REST & GraphQL APIs
• Marketplace experience (Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop)
