Job Summary
We are seeking a creative, proactive Web Developer to join our rapidly growing development team. You will work across both frontend and backend technologies, helping build and maintain modern websites, platforms, and applications.
This role is ideal for a developer in the early stages of their career who wants to strengthen their skills in PHP, WordPress, React, Next.js, and Python, while contributing to fast-paced, impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins using PHP
- Improve website performance, SEO, and security
- Build responsive and pixel-perfect UI components using React and Next.js
- Collaborate with designers and product teams to implement new features
- Work on backend functionality using PHP and Python
- Integrate third-party APIs (RESTful services)
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in frontend and backend code
- Participate in team code reviews and brainstorming sessions
- Stay updated on modern development tools, trends, and best practices
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 1–2 years of professional web development experience
- Strong skills in PHP and WordPress (themes & plugins)
- Basic familiarity with React and Next.js
- Working knowledge of Python for scripts or backend automation
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Understanding of performance optimization, SEO, and basic web security
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
Bonus Skills (Optional)
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
- Familiarity with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other WordPress builders
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to Docker, AWS, or modern DevOps tools
- Experience with testing frameworks and debugging tools
