Job Purpose

We are looking for a skilled Website Developer & SEO Specialist to join our expanding marketing team in Islamabad. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow in a fast-paced B2B environment and contribute to a rapidly developing business.

Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Growth, the selected candidate will manage all technical aspects of our main website, built on WordPress. The ideal professional will have strong expertise in SEO, Technical SEO, website maintenance, and performance optimization. You will collaborate with our content and data teams to enhance SEO strategies and boost overall digital performance.

The role requires a team player with excellent communication skills who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment. This is a fully office-based position.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical website developer, continually adapting to evolving industry trends to maximize website performance and user engagement.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in WordPress and advanced SEO tools, including site audits, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with the SEO Content Specialist and SEO Copywriter to align website structure with content strategies.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance efficiency, including managing broken links, improving internal linking, and optimizing site speed.
• Collaborate with the Web and Analytics Specialist to analyze data and strengthen SEO tactics.
• Support new business development and pitch technical SEO strategies to clients.
• Train and guide internal teams on SEO best practices.
• Conduct keyword research and monitor user behavior to optimize engagement.
• Stay updated on SEO trends, search engine updates, and industry developments.

• REST APIs / GraphQL integrations

CMS Experience

• Custom WordPress theme and plugin development
• Familiarity with modern headless CMS (Strapi, Contentful, Sanity)

Web Infrastructure

• Hosting/server management (cPanel, VPS, AWS, Azure)
• Git/GitHub version control
• CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments

Performance & SEO

• Core Web Vitals optimization
• Technical SEO: schema markup, sitemaps, metadata
• Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Tag Manager

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in website development and SEO-focused roles.
• Strong WordPress development experience, including Elementor.
• Front-end development experience with React.js or Next.js.
• Hands-on coding experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with tools like GA4, Search Console, GTM, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs.
• Knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMRush or SEOClarity.
• Experience with CMS platforms: WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must provide examples of previously developed websites.
