About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dependable WordPress Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with WooCommerce product management, Shopify, and custom plugin development. You must be able to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and ensure websites remain fully functional, secure, and optimized.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain WordPress websites.
• Manage Shopify stores, including product listings, theme customizations, and app integrations.
• Create and edit website pages using page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Handle WooCommerce product listings—images, descriptions, pricing, attributes, categories, etc.
• Configure and optimize Mega Menus for improved navigation and user experience.
• Customize themes, plugins, and page layouts as required.
• Troubleshoot and fix performance, functionality, and compatibility issues.
• Ensure proper website security, regular backups, and plugin/theme updates.
• Perform website speed and performance optimization using best practices and relevant tools.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Implement tools and strategies to enhance online sales and conversions.

Requirements

• Proven experience with WordPress (especially WooCommerce) and Shopify.
• Strong understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and basic PHP/HTML/CSS.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues with minimal supervision.
• Experience with product data entry, bulk uploads, and WooCommerce settings.
• Familiarity with website optimization, SEO tools, and security best practices.
• Experience with third-party integrations and platform syncing.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
